Training program for master students of traffic information engineering and control

1. Training objectives
(1)Master the basic theory of Marxism, love the motherland, abide by discipline and law, have good moral quality and strong career spirit, and actively serve the socialist modernization construction.
(2)Establish the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts and daring to innovate, master the solid basic theory and systematic specialized knowledge of traffic information engineering and control discipline, master the necessary experimental skills, have the necessary social practice experience, and can engage in scientific research and independently undertake special technical work.
(3)Master a foreign language and be proficient in traffic information engineering and control.
(4)Have a healthy body.
2. Research directions
The research directions, main contents and research direction leaders of traffic information engineering and control Major are shown in Table 1.
3. Length of learning and time allocation
(1)Based on the credit system, the length of learning is 3 years. The total credit is 32 credits, of which the compulsory course credit is no less than 18 credits. If necessary, the graduation time can be extended, but not more than one year. Among them, the degree course examination adopts the system of re-examination and re-examination. If the result is qualified, the corresponding degree will be obtained, and all credits must be obtained before submitting for defense. The assessment of degree courses must be carried out in the form of examinations, and the scores shall be assessed by the hundred mark system. The elective courses are determined as examination or examination according to the specific situation, and the general situation is examination.
(2)The time of course study and thesis work is about 3 semesters respectively. The course study and thesis work are carried out alternately. Only after completing the required credits can you apply for thesis defense.
4. Curriculums and time requirements
The curriculums, class hours allocation and opening time are shown in Table 2.
5. Literature reading
master students should read no less than 40 articles of professional literature and write a literature reading report, which will be approved by the instructor and the assessment team. The document reading report should be completed at the end of the third semester, and the qualified students will get 1 compulsory credit.
6. Opening report
Through literature reading and academic research, under the guidance of the tutors, master students should determine the topic of the thesis as soon as possible, and make the opening reports at the beginning of the fourth semester. Write the opening reports according to the specified format and make a public report, and the professional assessment team is responsible for the assessment. The qualified students get 1 required credit before they can work on the thesis. The unqualified ones need to make the opening reports again.
7. Mid-term assessment
In the fifth semester, the professional assessment team will carry out the mid-term assessment on the master's degree thesis work, mainly check the progress of the thesis, give guidance in combination with the actual situation, put forward specific requirements for the unqualified ones, and postpone the dissertation defense.
8. Thesis work
The thesis work should be carried out in an interdisciplinary way with the course study. The cumulative time for master students to study and write papers should be at least one year. The tutor should fully grasp the progress of the dissertation work, and make timely and necessary adjustments to the thesis work plan according to the actual needs. The specific requirements of the master's degree thesis shall be implemented following the regulations on the administration of the master's degree.
