The laboratory was established in 1985 and is located on the fifth floor of the Jiaotong Hall, Nanling Campus of Jilin University, with a current construction area of 800 square meters, two technicians, fixed assets of 6.5 million yuan, and 15 sets of large equipment over 100,000 yuan, mainly used for undergraduate and graduate experiments.
The laboratory mainly undertakes experimental teaching for undergraduate majors in transportation planning and management and logistics engineering, as well as thesis experiments and scientific research for postgraduates. The experimental teaching courses offered are 9 in total, including "Automobile Structure", "Transportation Engineering", "Logistics Information System", "Logistics Machinery Technology", "Logistics Warehousing Technology", "Introduction to E-Commerce", "Transportation Business Management", "Introduction to Supply Chain Management" and "Principles of Transportation Planning",with 41 experimental projects.A brief description of the main hardware and software facilities for laboratory teaching is as follows
