On November 5th, 2019, Professor Zheng Weitao, Vice President of Jilin University, met with a delegation of 6 people led by Professor Per-Olof Brehmer, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Professor Ulf Nilsson, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Science, Linköping University. Professor Zheng Weitao and Professor Per-Olof Brehmer jointly signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Linköping University and Jilin University and Agreement on Articulation Programs between Linköping University and Jilin University. The two universities formally established the cooperative relationship.
Representatives from Office of Global Engagement, Office of Undergraduate Education, Graduate School, College of Materials Science and Engineering, and College of Electronic Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
During the visit, the delegation went to College of Automotive Engineering of Jilin University for work meetings. They exchanged information on automotive dynamic simulation and control, automotive lightweight design, automotive electronic control technology, and efficient engine clean energy technology. They also negotiated and reached a cooperative intention on student co-supervision programs. Moreover, the delegation visited State Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics, Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control and Laboratory of Automobile Materials.
